We're often on the lookout for talented folks to join our team. We’re a small, early-stage team, so roles are often fluid; we don’t currently have specific job descriptions, but we’d be excited to speak to generalists who might be interested in roles like:

• Director of AI Safety
• Events and Community Lead
• Full-stack web & LLM engineer
• Finance and Operations
• Chief of Staff

Some potential projects include:

• Leading high-profile AI safety event programming in San Francisco
• Developing software to help newcomers find jobs, housing, friends and events
• Interviewing and publishing feature articles on the best AI safety forprofit startups
• Coordinating alignment research efforts across multiple frontier labs
• Running a fellowship, incubator, or accelerator in AI policy, AI welfare/rights, or mass movement building

About Mox and Manifund

Mox is a coworking space and community hub at 1680 Mission Street in San Francisco, founded in early 2025 as a physical anchor for the AI safety, EA, and broader SF tech ecosystem. We host ~180 members, run a J-1 visa fellowship program for international researchers, and incubate adjacent programs like the Seldon Lab Accelerator and the Frame Fellowship for AI safety content creators. We're a program under Manifund.

Manifund is a 501(c)(3) that runs regranting infrastructure for the EA and AI safety ecosystem. We’ve directed >$10m of total funding to 400 projects. We are also the fiscal home for a number of community projects. Austin Chen is CEO.
